Description

All areas of interior fittings, furniture production and parquet coating are recommended as domains of use. This stain can be applied either directly to raw wood such as oak or ash or to surfaces that have already been stained or lacquered; the work effort for this is minimal, and the application is very easy. The special formulation allows this pore stain to be removed from the substrate without residue for clear stain effects with distinctive, colour-contrasting pores.

  • For the most distinctive pore patterns with limed or colourful pore effects
  • Very easy application without residue on the surfaces

Surface Preparation

The wood must be dry, dust-free and grease-free. The pore is brushed out after sanding.

Finishing

These stains can be finished using the widest variety of Hesse lacquer systems, such as PU, CN and HYDRO lacquers or with suitable oils. The following must be taken into account when applying EAZYPORE directly onto a stain: in the case of subsequent coating with HYDRO lacquers, the HYDRO stains must not contain any dyes; when coating with products that contain solvents, the stains used must not contain any solvent-based dyes. Although HYDRO dye stains can be combined with solvent-based lacquers and solvent-based dye stains with HYDRO lacquers. When using EAZYPORE on another stain or on a fully dried basecoat, please observe the recommendations on finishing and intermediate sanding in the corresponding technical data sheet.

Comments on sanding

The effect is especially distinctive after the pores are brushed out vigorously. When applying directly on solvent or HYDRO stain or on basecoat, the latter are not sanded.

Processing instructions

Apply stain by spraying or with a brush with excess. Remove the excess evenly first crosswise to the grit then along it using gauze bales. The stain can be applied directly on the wood or on wood that has already been stained. The pore stain can also be applied to primed surfaces, and pore stain must be removed while wet. After the stain dries, the basecoat is sanded before applying the top coat.

  • Trial staining of the original sanded wood with original coating should be carried out under real conditions.
  • Only use stains from a single batch for any one job. Clean instruments with thinners such as ZD 82.
